At a very early stage in the development of my animated science fiction short film Echoes, Susan was not a girl, but a young man.

 
I imagined how it would be, when a stranded space traveller finds this huge anbandoned complex in de midst of a vast desert. Below is an initial sketch for one of the scenes in Echoes. It didn’t make it into the final version of the short, because I thought that it would have been to boring.
