As Christoph was getting nervous about the schedule and I was kneedeep in work, I had to find another, faster way to lay out our shots.
So I built a quick’n’dirty paper chariot and some paper figures as placeholders for our characters and the location and in two days we photographed all angles we needed. Paralleling this, Christoph was getting more and more people on board. Some veteran producers, a special effects mastermind with 30 years worth of experience, horse trainers, insurance people… you name it.
