Creating the Garden of Eden

On my job, we were asked to present some ideas for one of our clients, who wanted to feature a young man who is seduced by an iPhone, but then refuses to take it.

There was a TV campaign planned as well, but we did not know very much about the ad, as the TV concept was being developed parallel to the online campaign, which was our job. But we did know, that the TV campaign would have something to do with the Garden of Eden or some kind of a paradise setting (think about Adam with Eve offering Adam an iPhone instead of an apple). We also knew, that the iPhone needed to be pixelated due to legal issues.

So I did some storyboards depicting a camera move trough a paradise setting and an iPhone growing out of an exotic plant.

I also did a storyboard where Eva herself tries to seduce Adam with her pixelated iPhone…

…and a version in which the smartphone grows out of a plant, without a camera move.

…as well as a version in which we see just Evas hand holding the pixelated iPhone.

Coming up next: Which idea did the client choose?

Update: Just checked it. You´ve got some nice and freaky designs on your website. I´m eager to read one of the story excerpts you got on your page on one of my train rides!
