Below are some work-in-progress-renderings of one of the sets for my animated science fiction short film Echoes.

I had to change some things when I modelled the room in 3D, because of the lack of time and because I felt that some details did not come out very well in 3D. But on the whole I tried to capture the overall look of the design. Also, some of the details got lost during the exporting process from one application to the other and there are some artefacts (things that should not be there), but I will fix it later, as it is just an exporting problem.
In the last picture, I’ve applied some rough textures to test how it would turn out once the rusty look was applied.
