If you are a returning reader you might already know that I have moved several times from one working place to the other, never settling down for a long time at the same place.
I´ve been working in a corner of a family member´s house
I have drawn and written stories on train rides:
I have worked in a cellar without any windows used by the tenants of my block as a shared storage room:
…in a food court in a megaplex:
… in cafés and Segafredos:
… and in a shared office:
So what´s wrong with this guy? You might ask.
Nothing, I guess. 🙂
I just could not use these spots any more – for one reason or another. The cellar, for example, had no fresh air so I got dizzy after three hours (and I was down there for up to nine hours). The shared space, which I liked a lot, was too far away from my home (I had to spend three and a half hours on the train to get there and back).
When something does not work out for one reason or another you just have to find a way to cope with that… or find another route – fast.
And sometimes, you just have to have a little bit of luck and recognize an opportunity as such when it comes along: I have a new working place and I do not have to travel by train to get there! More about that in my next blog post, so stay tuned. 🙂
Glad you’ve found a new space to write in. Nice you don’t have to have a long journey to get there as well.

Yes, I am really happy about that, too. It is really nice not having to sit three hours a day in a train just to get to my working place 🙂
