Like the Nymph, the Nebomunk is a creature of the woods and usually inhabits wetlands in European forests. He is known for being overly anxious and extremely neurotic. Among other fears, the Nebomunk apprehends that one day a swarm of black bumblebees will take over the sky and darken the sun. Without the sun, all the flowers and trees will die and once the forests have disappeared he won’t have left any place to hide. Don’t ask. I really didn’t get this myself.
The Nebomunk is often accompanied by a globefish-like, flying creature. It believes that he is the god of its race, that has created the swamps and the trees – with other words: The whole world. The flying creature takes notes of everything the Nebomunk does. It wants to chronicle his acts for the generations to come. The Nebomunk, on the other side, feels very flattered that somebody takes note of him and therefore does not do anything to clear up this misunderstanding.
Even though this creature is filled with fear, it likes to help out the occasional lost wanderers who are being haunted by nymphs. I think, that the Nebomunk does not like nymphs very much.
