Fairytale Book Cover Reveal

The cover for the german version of my fantasy children’s book is finally finished. After many of you gave me a lot of helpful input on the different cover sketches I had posted in the poll, I chose to paint the version which you liked the most. It was number 3: the little hero of our story on a wooden floor, ready to climb down the ladder to his hidden village. A big thank you goes to all of you who took the time to fill out the questionnaire. ๐Ÿ™‚

Below you can see a work-in-progress-painting of the cover. As always, done the old fashioned way: brushes and watercolours, no digital painting.

And here is the finished cover. Note that the title changed a bit for the German version. “Das Dorf unter dem FuรŸboden” means as much as “The village beneath the floor”. That was mainly because the shorter titles were already in use. But I think that this one works very well, too.
