Tiny Warrior

It is a good thing to keep flexing the creative muscles so you do not get rusty. A quick little sketch here and there is perfect for that.

So I started scribbling this little one called Monk. I am not quite sure about his name, though. Mainly because the name is already in use for this tv character.

Usually, I would colour the illustration right away. But this time, I wanted to experiment a little. So I copied the inked illustration and played around with the colours.

For some reason, I liked the warrior with the white pelt the most. For me, it looked like a distant (and way smaller) relative of the Yeti.

Painting with watercolours did not feel right for this one, so I decided to colour him with pencils. I mostly use Faber Castell Polychromos, but I do not mind using common children`s pencils as well.

So here is the final illustration.
