Fantasy Children’s Book Illustrations

For the last two years, I have mainly been working on the distribution channels for my first children’s book, Below the Floor, and getting legal stuff done.

That was not the most inspriring part of the job. But it needed to be done. Now I can understand, why most authors prefer not to follow the self publishing path, as after months and years it gets pretty exhausting. Nonetheless, if I was thrown four years back in time, I would do it again. I think, that I have made a lot of mistakes and following the self publishing route was one of the best mistakes I have done in my Life so far. 😉

I beta-tested my next project  (a children’s activity book called Letos Labyrinths) with some children. Some of them already knew my children’s book Below the Floor and when they saw the roughly done placeholder cover of Leto’s Labyrinths, their eyes began to shine.

Just seeing the look on their faces was priceless for me.

I am still getting Leto’s Labyrinths finished, but I thought, hat in the meantime I could share some illustrations from my children’s book with you.

Unfortunately, at the moment, my book is available in German only. I hope, that I can publish an English version one day. 😉
