Bringing The Freeze

The last weeks have been really hot here in Austria. The thermometer was indicating up to 38 degree Celsius (100 °F, 311 K) and my brain seemed to switch to slow motion mode occasionally. So I decided to bring a little helper into my studio. And after pushing and carrying this 40 kg brownie across half the village during midday heat (I hate driving cars) it found its place, right next to my drawing table: The air conditioning unit.

Things are going well with my fairytale book Below the Floor. I keep pumping out one b/w illustration after the other. I really have to push myself, because I want to finish on schedule. Below you can see the thumbnails which form my illustrations master plan. I sticked it to the wall next to my drawing table – so that it constantly reminds me to switch off youtube and get another illustration done.
